Problem: Traditional NI-DAQ automatically sets the optimal gains for my SCXI module based on the input limits I specify. How can I check these gain values? Solution: You can retrieve the gain value set by Traditional NI-DAQ by using the AI Parameter VI after using the AI Config VI to set the input limits of the signal. Wire the operation input to a value of "Get", and wire the parameter name input to a constant of "SCXI Gain". The gain currently set for the SCXI module is returned from the float out output.
