Checking the SCXI Gain Set by Traditional NI-DAQ in LabVIEW

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-DAQ
Primary Software Version: 7.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Base Package
Hardware: SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1102, SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1120, SCXI>>Modules>>SCXI-1120D

Problem:
Traditional NI-DAQ automatically sets the optimal gains for my SCXI module based on the input limits I specify. How can I check these gain values?

Solution:
You can retrieve the gain value set by Traditional NI-DAQ by using the AI Parameter VI after using the AI Config VI to set the input limits of the signal. Wire the operation input to a value of "Get", and wire the parameter name input to a constant of "SCXI Gain". The gain currently set for the SCXI module is returned from the float out output.
