Operating Temperature of NI-Scope Devices

Hardware: Modular Instruments>>High-Speed Digitizers (Scopes)

Problem:
I have found the Operating Temperature in the specifications for my scope device, but is this ambient temperature or onboard temperature?

Solution:
Our specifications list the operating temperature as seen below. This is the ambient temperature of the environment outside the chassis.

These cards will shutdown when they reach their internal thermal shutdown temperature, which is much higher than the specified ambient operating temperature. This will also cause an error. To learn more about the thermal shutdown event, please refer the Digitizers Help.  If you would like more information regarding operating environment conditions, please see specification documentation for that device.
