Some LabVIEW DSC SubVIs Have Password Protected Block Diagrams.

Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>DSC Module
Primary Software Version: 7.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: I've noticed that some of the LabVIEW DSC sub-VIs ask me for a password when I try to enter their block diagrams. Why does this happen?

Solution: Some LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) VIs are password protected because they contain access to National Instruments internal-only functions. National Instruments will not provide the password for these VIs as they contain intellectual property.

You may use these VIs, but they cannot be edited nor can their block diagram code be viewed. The requested password in the dialog that pops up is not related to the logged in user in any way. This applies to all versions of LabVIEW DSC including BridgeVIEW.
