Loading a Specific Sequence in Test Executive
Primary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Test Executive
Primary Software Version: 5.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: - Loading Sequence in Development System
- Loading Sequence in Run-Time System
Solution: For Development Systems- In order for the Test Executive to automatically load a specific test sequence when run, the Test Executive VI itself needs to be called as a subVI. If you look at the icon/connector for the Test Executive VI, you will notice that it has inputs called "path to seq. file" and "use select sequence callback?". If you call the Test Executive as a subVI and wire a sequence path to "path to seq. file" and a Boolean FALSE to "use select sequence callback?", the Test Executive will start up and load the specified sequence file after the login dialog is displayed.
For Run-Time Systems (4.0 and later only)- Select the control on the Test Executive operator interface VI called "Path to Seq. File" and enter in the desired sequence path. Make this value the default value of the control and save the VI. When this top-level operator interface is opened directly or used by the run-time system, the specified sequence opens automatically.
