My IMAQ Trigger VIs Do Not Work with the PCI-1408 or PXI-1408Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Analog Image Devices>>PCI-1408
Problem: When I try to run a program that uses an IMAQ Trigger VI with my PCI/PXI-1408, I get the following error at an IMAQ Trigger VI: Error -1074397126: NI-IMAQ: Hardware not capable of supporting this operation ![]() How can I get the program to work with my PCI/PXI-1408? Solution: The four original IMAQ Trigger VIs are IMAQ Configure Trigger, IMAQ Trigger Drive, IMAQ Trigger Read, and IMAQ Trigger Route. These are older VIs that have been replaced by newer versions of the IMAQ Trigger VIs, but can still be accessed if needed. The newer versions have an appended number (2 or above) signifying the version of the VI. For example, IMAQ Configure Trigger.vi is the original VI and IMAQ Configure Trigger2.vi was the next version. The PCI/PXI-1408 only supports the original versions, which do not have an appended number. To replace a newer IMAQ Trigger VI with an earlier IMAQ Trigger VI: 1. Right-click on the VI 2. Choose Replace»All Palettes»Select a VI... 3. Browse to the following directory: labview\vi.lib\vision\driver\imaqsignalio.llb 4. Select the IMAQ Trigger VI which you need.
