Why Is the Terminal Connection Type Test Missing from the VI Analyzer 1.0 on MacOS X and Solaris?

Problem: I noticed that the General > Icon and Connector Pane > Terminal Connection Type test for the LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit 1.0 is missing on MacOS X and Solaris, but the test is present on Windows and Linux. Why is this?

Solution: The Terminal Connection Type test for VI Analyzer 1.0 relies on an internal VI Server method in LabVIEW that functions improperly on MacOS X and Solaris in LabVIEW 7.0. The method works correctly on Windows and Linux. The next version of the VI Analyzer will include this test on all platforms.
