MAX Cannot Deserialize the IviConfigurationStore.xml Because the XML Schema File (IviConfigurationStore.xsd) Is Not Found.

Problem:
I receive the following error message when I expand the IVI Drivers category in MAX:

The provider was unable to deserialize the file: C:\Program Files\IVI\Data\IviConfigurationStore.xml
Deserialize failed. Cannot find the XML Schema file: C:\Program Files\IVI\Data\IviConfigurationStore.xsd

Will reinstalling the IVI Compliance Package fix this error?



Solution:
Uninstallation of the IVI Compliance Package 2.0 does not remove this file from the system.  This error occurs if the IVI folder is accidentally deleted from the Program Files directory.  Running the repair on the IVI Compliance Package 2.0 will not solve the problem.

Here are the steps to fix the problem:
  1. Download and run the IVI Cleanup Utility from the IVI Foundation website.
  2. Download and install the IVI Shared Component installer from the IVI Foundation website.
