What Version of LabVIEW Real-Time is Supported by My PXI Controller and do I Need a Target CD?Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers
Problem: I would like to install the LabVIEW Real-Time module onto my controller. What versions of LabVIEW Real-Time are supported? What versions of the LabWindows/CVI Real-Time Modules are supported? Do I need a Target CD to install support for certain versions? Solution: The following table details the supported LabVIEW Real-Time Module versions supported by a specific controller. To get support for certain versions of LabVIEW Real-Time, a LabVIEW Real-Time Target Software CD (also known as the LabVIEW Real-Time Embedded Software CD) is sometimes required. If you have a version of LabVIEW that is newer than those listed below, you will not require a Target CD.
To obtain a Target CD, contact National Instruments Support.
* You must enable the W2 hardware jumper to upgrade the Real-Time software on an NI PXI-814x Real-Time controller.
Note: PXI-8174 is not supported since it does not have Real-Time safe mode, and there is no way to install it onto the controller without a floppy drive.
