Is There Any Way to Read MAX Motion Parameters Using LabVIEW?

Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-Motion/FlexMotion
Primary Software Version: 7.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Base Package
Hardware: Motion Control, Motion Control>>Controllers

Problem:
I would like to read the encoder steps per revolution and counts per revolution (and PID parameters) that have been set in MAX using LabVIEW so that I can perform other calculations using them. Is there a VI to do this?

Solution:
A number of parameters that are set in MAX are not readable in LabVIEW. This encoder setting is one of them. Other examples include the PID control loop parameters, stepper loop mode, and the axis filter settings. These parameters can, however, be loaded using LabVIEW VIs. Once those values have been loaded, they can be used elsewhere in the application by using property nodes or by wiring the values to other VIs.
