Why Does the Waterfall Graph from Sound and Vibration 5.0 Not Work When Upgrading to LabVIEW 8.5?

Problem:
I am trying to use the Waterfall Graph or the Octave Waterfall Graph that comes with Sound and Vibration Toolkit 5.0 in LabVIEW 8.5.  When I do a mass compile on the Toolkit in LabVIEW, these two VIs, found in the XControls, will not save:
  • svx_YScale.Range Write.vi
  • svx_ZScale.Range Write.vi


Solution:
These XControl properties have a space after the label name "Value".  This was acceptable in LabVIEW 8.2.1 but causes and error LabVIEW 8.5.  To fix the issue, delete the extra space in the control's label "Value" for both broken VI's.  Then you will be able to save and run the graph.

This issue is resolved in Sound and Vibration Toolkit 6.0.
