Problem: I am trying to use a DAQ function in LabWindows/CVI 7.1, but I receive the error "Cannot Find Functions Panel". I am able to use the function in an older version of LabWindows/CVI. How can I resolve this? Solution: This error is a result of installing LabWindows/CVI 7.1 after installing the NI-DAQ drivers, and thus the DAQ libraries are not installed. To correct this error you will need to modify the NI-DAQ driver install through the Start»Settings»Control Panel»Add or Remove Programs»National Instruments Software»NI-DAQ 7.3, Traditional. When NI-DAQ 7.3, Traditional is selected, then press the modify button. Once you select the location of the driver, you will be able to add support for LabWindows/CVI in the tree for Traditional DAQ and DAQmx. Once this is accomplished, you will need to restart your computer. After the computer is restarted, you should have the DAQ libraries installed in CVI. Related Links: Attachments:
