Problem: I have a VI that writes to file, but when I run it on my (Compact) FieldPoint controller, it gives an error for the wrong filepath name. Solution: The FieldPoint filepath is going to be similar to that of any host PC. The root directory of the controller is C:/, but it has a different folder structure. The easiest way to choose the filepath is to FTP into your controller, and choose the path from there. The following picture shows how to navigate the directory.
So for instance, if the file is in the system folder, you would choose the filepath C:\ni-rt\system\filename
