Why Does the cRIO Hang when Resetting the Controller with System Reset?Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers
Problem: When I set the System Reset signal to TRUE on the FPGA, my cRIO hangs. Why does this happen? Solution: Setting the System Reset signal to TRUE will only reset the controller not the FPGA. The FPGA will still be running its code, therefore it is possible for the FPGA to constantly reset the controller. To resolve this, you will have to make sure that System Reset IO is set back to FALSE after resetting the controller.
