What Modular Instrument Products support Virtual Channels? Hardware: Modular Instruments>>High-Precision DAQ (Dataloggers)
Problem: I tried to create a Traditional Virtual Channel in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), traditional NI-DAQ, for a Modular Instrument. Some of them work and others do not. It is possible to select all of the Modular Instruments, but the Test Panel does not work for certain Modular Instruments. More specifically the NI 4060 works correctly, but the NI 4070 hangs the computer. Solution: Modular Instruments that support NI-DAQ programming support the use of Traditional Virtual Channels in MAX. The following Modular Instruments support using a Traditional Virtual Channel created in MAX. Note: Although NI-DAQ supports the following, for those that ship with other drivers, NI recommends using that driver and the corresponding Soft Front Panel for verification. NI-4050 and NI-4060 includes NI-DMM driver NI-4472 includes NI-DAQ driver NI-455x includes NI-DSA driver NI-445x includes NI-DAQ driver NI-435x includes NI-DAQ driver Related Links: Attachments:
