How Can I Pass Variables from LabVIEW to DIAdem?

Primary Software: DIAdem
Primary Software Version: 10.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>DIAdem Connectivity VIs Toolkit

Problem:
I am using LabVIEW to programmatically control DIAdem, but I would like to pass information (not data files) from LabVIEW to DIAdem to be used in a DIAdem script.  How can I achieve this?

Solution:
Capitalize upon the DIAdem Connectivity VIs Toolkit.  Using the polymorphic DIAdem Variable Set VI within the toolkit, you can pass information from LabVIEW to DIAdem and set environment variables, auxiliary variables, or even user variables.

An example of this process is attached below and passes a string obtained from a LabVIEW Front Panel string control to a DIAdem auxiliary variable.  Ensure that both DIAdem and the DIAdem Connectivity VIs are installed before running this VI from LabVIEW.
