Problem: I am using a PCI (internal) modem and trying to configure the Pager object in Lookout. Why am I getting this error? Solution: This error occurs if the selected COM port for the Pager object is not available. Make sure that the Pager object is configured to use the same COM port as the internal modem uses. For instance, if the PC has two built-in serial ports, then the internal modem uses COM3, which should be selected when configuring the Pager object.
