Discrete PID VI for FPGA

Problem:
I installed the LabVIEW FPGA module 8.5 and can no longer find the Discrete PID VI under the Programming»FPGA Math & Analysis»Control»Discrete Linear Systems palette. What happened to this VI?

Solution:
The functionality of the Discrete PID VI for FPGA has been moved from the FPGA Module to the PID Toolkit as of version 8.5 of the software. The Discrete PID VI is now an Express VI called PID (FPGA).vi that supports single and multiple channels and can be found on the Programming»FPGA Math & Analysis»Control palette.

The PID Toolkit can be installed separately or as part of the LabVIEW Real-Time Module
