Can I Still Provide 10V Excitation With My SCC-SG24 Strain Gage Module When My SC-2345 Uses a 5VDC Power Supply? Hardware: SCC>>Modules>>SCC-SG24
Problem: I have an SC-2345 with the SCC-PWR-01(5VDC) power option. Am I still able to provide the 10V excitation with my SCC-SG24 module that I have plugged into my carrier? Solution: Regardless of the power supply option that the user has connected to the SC-2345, the SCC-SG24 will be able to provide the 10V excitation source for the load connected to it. The SCC-PWR-01 actually converts +5V supplied to it into +15V so that all of the modules in the carrier have access to the higher voltage. In this way, the SCC-SG24 has the voltage necessary to provide the 10V excitation. Related Links: Attachments:
