Resource Not Found Error When Running My LabVIEW FPGA ExecutablePrimary Software: Driver Software>>NI-RIOPrimary Software Version: N/A Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>FPGA Module
Problem: I have developed a host VI for an R-Series application which I can run successfully on my development machine. I then created an executable and deployed it to a stand-alone machine; however, when I run the exectuable on this machine I receive the following LabVIEW: Resource not found error as it looks for the NiRioSrv.dll. Why am I encountering this error? Solution: This error is occurring because the LabVIEW exectuable cannot locate the files associated with the FPGA device (the host may have an Open FPGA Reference and other VIs that depend on FPGA components). To solve the error, you need to install the NI-RIO driver on the stand-alone machine, which supports these VIs. This can be done by including the NI-RIO driver in your LabVIEW application installer or manually install the driver from the linked location in the related links. Note: The LabVIEW Run-Time engine is also necessary for running LabVIEW exectuables on a stand-alone machine.
