Cannot Log Into Computer After Installing My Serial Board Hardware: Serial>>RS-232>>PCI-8430/8
Problem: I have a PCI Serial card for which I installed the drivers and that went smoothly. However, after I actually install the board, my computer freezes up when I'm trying to log in to the network. What could be causing this? Solution: This problem has been shown to be caused by some firewall software. In particular, Zone Labs Integrity Client firewall software has caused the computer to freeze when trying to log on.
