Error -200180 When Making Connection on PXI-2530

Hardware: Switches>>Multiplexer/Matrix>>PXI-2530

Problem:
I am trying to make a connection which involves a KCOM relay on the PXI-2530 in independent topology.  I am receiving the following error.

Error: -200180
Measurements: Path between two switch channels is not available.

Solution:
When the PXI-2530 is configured for independent topology, we have access to all the available channels.  This error can occur if you attempt to connect two channels which require multiple relays to complete the connection.  As long as a path is connected that requires only one relay to close (Ch0->Com0, Ch32->Com2, Ch64->Com4, etc.) there are no issues.

An example of a connection which requires multiple relays is Ch16->Com1 (see image below).  In order to connect these two channels, you must connect the intermediate paths (Ch16->PCom1 and PCom1->Com1) in the SFP (or your program) and not just closing individual connections.

Note: Refer to the NI Switches Help under Devices»NI PXI-2530»Independent Topology to determine whether connecting two channels requires an intermediate connection.
