Problem: I have plugged my USB-6251 or USB-6259 into a DC power source and I turn the power switch on, however, the ready light does not turn on. Solution: This is expected behavior. Although the USB-6251 and USB-6259 are both externally powered, the ready light will not turn on until you plug it into your computer's USB port.
