The Automation Symbols Don't Line Up Correctly in My Executable, Even Though They Look Fine When Making the User Interface. Primary Software: Measurement Studio Add-ons>>Automation Symbols ToolsetPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When lining the automation symbols up in the user interface, they may look lined up, but when you run the executable in either Visual Basic or Visual C++, all the pipes get shifted and no longer line up. Solution: This occurs when the control is selected and the blue dots around the border of the control don't match up with it's neighboring pipe's blue dots. A quick way to fix this is to adjust the y value for controls that need to be lined up horizontally and once the y value is the same, line them up. The same with the x value for controls that need to be lined up vertically. Both Visual Basic and Visual C++ provide toolbar buttons or menu commands to make objects the same size and align or center them.
