LabVIEW 8.2.1 Student Edition Install Error on MAC Leopard 10.5 OS

Problem:
I purchased the Prentice Hall LabVIEW Student Edition textbook bundled with LabVIEW 8.2.1.  When I install the software on a Mac 10.5 (Leopard), the installation fails at 97% with the errors depicted in Figure 1 or Figure 2.

Solution:
This is a known issue with the Prentice Hall release of LabVIEW 8.2.1 Student Edition and the Mac Leopard 10.5 OS.

If you run into the same errors (as shown below), you can send an email to lvse@ni.com to request a LabVIEW 8.2.1 Student Edition CD for Mac OS. Please include your name, mailing address, and phone number in the email for shipping.  On the subject line of the email, please include the following:  Replacement LabVIEW Student Edition CD.

 These are the specific errors from the installation trials that were run on Leopard OS MACs (PowerPC & Intel):
