What is the IMAQ-A6822?

What is the IMAQ-A6822?

The IMAQ-A6822 is used to give a user expanded functionality with NI Analog Image Acquisition cards.  It allows you to connect multiple cameras, trigger types, synchronization and control lines to one central terminal block.  You must have an Analog IMAQ card that supports multiple camera acquisition to make use of the device.

Can it only be used for analog cameras?

Yes.  The IMAQ-A6822 is designed to exclusively connect to the PXI-1409/PCI-1410 IMAQ capture cards

What signals are available?

The following BNC signals are available on the front panel of the IMAQ-A6822 via 22 BNC connectors:

  • Video 0-7
  • Trigger 0-3
  • Control 0-3
  • HSYNC IN
  • VSYNC IN
  • CSYNC IN
  • CSYNC OUT
  • PCLK IN
  • PCLK OUT

How do I connect it to my IMAQ Vision card?

The IMAQ-A6822 connects to our IMAQ Capture cards using our SH68-C68-S, 68 Pin VHDCI to 68 Pin .05 Series D-Type Cable.  Part numbers (186381-0R5, 186381-01, 186381-02)
