Installing the Comsoft PROFIBUS Board I Purchased From NI

Problem:
I have purchased the Comsoft PROFIBUS board from NI.  How do I install it?

Solution:
The board comes with a Comsoft PROFIBUS driver based on NI-VISA.  Here are the steps to setup your Comsoft PROFIBUS board: 

• Make sure NI-VISA 4.2 or later is installed on your system. 
• Install the Comsoft PROFIBUS driver 1.30 or later via the Windows Hardware Update Wizard dialog which should pop up automatically after the board is installed.
  Select the option to Install from a list or specified location as shown in Figure 1.

• Select the Comsoft Installation Directory as shown in Figure 2. C:\Program Files\Comsoft GmbH\Profibus VISA Driver\INF

• Shut down your computer system.
• Plug in your Comsoft PROFIBUS slave or master board and reboot your computer.
