Can I Use the BNC-2111 for Calibration of a 671x/672x/673x Device?Primary Software: Calibration ExecutivePrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: Secondary Software: Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Connector Blocks>>BNC-2111
Problem: I would like calibrate my 671x/672x/673x device and I have a BNC-2111. The manual states I need a CB-68. Solution: Our devices share a common pinout design that will allow you to use connector blocks such as the BNC-2111 to connect to the proper pins on the analog output series cards. Although not all pins map perfectly the analog output channels do connect in the proper manner and calibration can occur. The ideal situation is to use the connector block stated, but the BNC-2111 will work. The calibration in Calibration Executive will prompt you connect signals to specific pins. For example you will be asked to connect a digital multi-meter (DMM) to pins 23 and 57. This is for Analog Output AO 2. This maps to AI 7, and AI 15, or the differential input AI 7+, and AI 7-. The BNC-2111 has an input labeled AI 7, so you could re-label that connection as AO2, and so on. The connections are as follows:
