Error 32768 When Using FieldPoint VIs from LabVIEW

Problem: I receive error 32768 when I try to use FieldPoint VIs from LabVIEW, usually with the Get Configuration Information.vi.


Solution: This error indicates that the .iak file you tried to open either does not exist at the end of the file path you indicated, or the file has missing information. The file path might be incorrect or you might need to specify the correct inputs to the Get Configuration Information.vi.

You can use the File Dialog function to get the correct file path to your .iak file (see the attached LabVIEW 5.0 example). You should also make sure that the input parameters to the Get Configuration Information.vi are consistent with the .iak file, paying special attention to case-sensitivity (uppercase versus lowercase) and special characters.
