LabVIEW Code Generation in Motion Assistant Fails

Problem:
I am trying to export my Motion Assistant code in to LabVIEW using Tools»Generate Code»LabVIEW Code.  When I do this, my Motion Assistant errors out almost immediately with the following error.

The was an Error during Code generation. Possible Reasons are :
1:NI Motion Templates not found
2:User has cancelled Code Generation



I have taken steps to ensure that my NI Motion templates are on this PC and I have not cancelled the code generation.  How do I export my code to LabVIEW?


Solution:
Motion Assistant interacts with LabVIEW using the VI Server.  In order to use the code generation capability of Motion Assistant, you must enable access to the VI Server in LabVIEW. Follow these steps to allow Motion Assistant full access to LabVIEW.
  1. Open your version of LabVIEW.
  2. Select Tools»Options.
  3. Navigate to the category VI Server: Exported VIs.
  4. Select Add and type *.* in the Exported VIs box. 
  5. Ensure the Allow Access radio box is checked.
  6. Select OK to close the Options window and save your settings.
Now you will be able to generate code in LabVIEW from Motion Assistant.
