Synchronizing Two Counter Tasks in NI-DAQmx

Hardware: Counter/Timers (TIO)>>Devices, Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>M Series

Problem:
I need to synchronize two counter measurement tasks on the same DAQ device. How can I do this?

Solution:
There are two possible ways to synchronize counters on the same DAQ device.

1. Create a dummy Analog Input task, and use the AI Sample Clock as the clock source for both counters.
   
   
   
   
2. Use an Arm Start Trigger for both counters. The Arm Start Trigger is set using a DAQmx Trigger Property node.
