Problem: What is NI support policy for FOUNDATION Fieldbus products? Solution: FOUNDATION Fieldbus technical support is handled entirely through Web Resources, which includes KnowledgeBase entries, Whitepaper articles, and Discussion Forums. Standard Service Program (SSP) customers also receive direct email correspondence. SSP is described in more detail at Products & Services: Software Services. If you are an SSP customer and would like to use the email correspondence method, please go to the Ask An Engineer section of Request Support and select E-mail NI. Be sure to select Foundation Fieldbus in the Hardware drop-down menu. Do not select Phone Support, as FieldBus is only supported via E-mail at this time.
