Why Can't I Find the PXI-8250 in MAX?Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Platform Modules>>PXI-8250
Problem: I installed NI-System Monitor 1.1 or later software on my computer as prescribed in the documentation, and Windows correctly identifies the module. However, the PXI-8250 is not showing up at all in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). Did I do something wrong? Solution: This is expected behavior. There is no configuration necessary for the PXI-8250 module in MAX. To confirm if the device has been properly installed, open Windows Device Manager found in the Control Panel under System. The module should be present after completing the installation of the driver and refreshing Device Manager (F5 key).
