NI Compact DAQ and M Series USB Locks Keyboard and Mouse During Continuous Digital Generation Hardware: CompactDAQ>>Backplanes>>cDAQ-9172
Problem: I'm trying to perform continuous digital generation with my cDAQ-9172 CompactDAQ chassis or M Series USB. After a short time, my mouse and keyboard appear to lock. What is the problem? Solution: We've seen isolated incidents of this on computers using both full and high speed USB. The issue is related to buffer sizes and USB performance. The workaround for this problem is to use a larger buffer, write more samples at a time, or use a slower output clock. Related Links: Attachments:
