"Unable to Locate Component Error" with NI OPC Server installed with LabVIEW 8.5.1 DSC Module

Problem:
When I try to add a new channel to NI OPC Servers, I get the following set of errors. Why does this happen?

 

Solution:
This is a known error when you create a new channel in NI OPC Servers after installing LabVIEW 8.5.1. Once the errors are cleared a new channel can be created normally. To remove the error, go to <National Instruments>\Shared\NI OPC Servers\ and rename the file "customlicensing.dll" to "customlicensing.dll.bak". Close and reopen NI OPC Servers.
