Problem: I installed a new version of NI-DAQmx or Device Drivers Disc and it updated my copy of LabVIEW Signal Express as well. Why did this happen? Solution: By default LabVIEW SignalExpress is included in the installed features for both the NI-DAQmx driver and the Device Drivers DVD. You can de-select it during install.
If you decide to upgrade and were previously using the LE version of SignalExpress, you simply need to re-register to continue using the new version. If you were using the Full edition, you will need to upgrade your serial number either through your service contract or by purchasing. You may also downgrade your software by uninstalling the later version and reinstalling the previous version.
