Problem: Is there a way to use Test Executive 4.0 for LabVIEW 5.0? Solution: There is a recompiled version of the LV Test Executive (TE) 4.0 for use with LabVIEW 5.0. The update is placed on our ftp site under support/labview/testexec/updates/lv50. This version is for users who have significantly modified the TE 4.0 and want to upgrade to LV 5.0 without changing their Test Executive. While we suggest that users upgrade to the TE 5.1, this will allow you to go ahead and upgrade your LabVIEW installations without significant work on their part regarding the TE. Please read the readme.txt file contained in the above directories. It explains exactly what is distributed. Also, only the Run-Time System for Windows 95/NT is recompiled. Users should contact tech support if you need another platform. Also, users should set their operator interface VIs to run in the user interface execution system if they are running LabVIEW in multithread mode.
