Error-50251 When Performing Self-Calibration on My NI-5922 After Upgrading from NI-SCOPE 3.3.2 to NI-SCOPE 3.4 Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-SCOPEPrimary Software Version: 3.4 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Modular Instruments>>High-Speed Digitizers (Scopes)>>PCI-5922, Modular Instruments>>High-Speed Digitizers (Scopes)>>PXI-5922
Problem: Previously I had NI-SCOPE 3.3.2, which I had installed from the August 2007 device driver CDs. I recently upgraded my NI-SCOPE driver to version 3.4 and now I cannot self-calibrate my NI-5922. In Measurement and Automation Explorer the self-calibrate option is disabled and I do not see any calibration information. The NI-SCOPE Cal Self Calibrate function returns Error -50251. How can I perform self-calibration on my NI-5922? Solution: In the process of upgrading from version 3.3.2 of the NI-SCOPE driver to version 3.4, a required dll may have been inadvertently removed. This dll is used in the process of self-calibrating the NI-5922. To reinstall the necessary dll, you will need to repair the NI-SCOPE 3.4 driver. This will require you to have the CD or original installation file from which you installed NI-SCOPE 3.4. The latest version of the NI-SCOPE 3.4 installer does not exhibit the upgrade issue and is available on ni.com. Related Links: Drivers and Updates: NI-SCOPE 3.4 Driver Download Attachments:
