Problem: I am running an application that uses the VXI API, and I have multiple chassis (VXI0, VXI1, etc) configured. When I talk to the modules in VXI0, everything works fine. However, if I try to talk to a module in a chassis other than VXI0, I get Error -32736. How do I get rid of this error?Solution: Using the VXI API requires that the VXI devices be configured to use the VXI 2.0 emulation layer. By default, this layer is set to VXI0, which is why you don't get an error when you talk to the modules in that chassis. To communicate with modules in chassis other than VXI0, you will need to set the emulation layer to the chassis you want to communicate with. To do this, follow the steps below:
