Why do I get Error 0xBFF60135 When Trying to Run My LabVIEW Code on a Smart Camera?

Primary Software: Driver Software>>Vision Acquisition Software
Primary Software Version: 8.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I recently upgraded to LabVIEW 8.6 and now I am unable to download and run my VI on the NI Smart Camera. LabVIEW returns an error message saying The requested bitstream is not compatible with the IMAQ device. I get the same error in LabVIEW 8.5 or LabVIEW 8.5.1. How do I fix this?

Solution:
If you have installed LabVIEW 8.6 on your computer, then you must upgrade to Vision Acquisition Software 8.6 (which includes NI-IMAQ 4.1) or later in order to access the smart camera. Even if you wish to access the smart camera with older versions of LabVIEW, you will need to upgrade Vision Acquisition Software.
