LabVIEW Platform DVD Distribution Installer Prompts for Incorrect Distributions

Problem:
When I am attempting to install my LabVIEW Platform DVD Distribution, the installer prompt asks me to insert a disk that I do not have in my posession.  Why is this and how can I get my DVD distribution to install my software correctly?

Solution:
For distributions that are installed from suites, the installer does not have any information about the suite. So, rather than prompting for the individual installer suite, the installer will prompt the user for a specific LabVIEW disk.  This prompt can be misleading.  For example, the installer might prompt for LabVIEW 8.6 Disk 2 when it should really be asking for LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD Disk 1. 

When installing the software from the NI LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD, please ignore prompts to insert LabVIEW 8.6 Disk x, where x represents the disk number.  Instead, start with the LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD Disk 1, and continue the installation process until the installer asks for the LabVIEW 8.6 Platform DVD Disk 2.
