What Software Needs to be Installed to Activate the FieldPoint Recommended Software Sets in MAX?

Hardware: Compact FieldPoint, FieldPoint

Problem:
I have installed the August 2007 Driver CD or later, and I would like to use the recommended software sets for FieldPoint, but they are disabled.  What software do I need to install to activate these recommended software sets?


Solution:
To install the recommended software sets for LabVIEW 8.x, you will need to install the following software in this order:
  1. LabVIEW 8.x
  2. LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.x
  3. August 2007 Driver CD - You will need the following components from the Driver CD:
    1. FieldPoint 6.0
    2. NI-VISA 4.2
    3. NI-Serial 3.3.0
       
NOTE: Make sure that you install LabVIEW Real-Time support for each of the components listed above.
To install the recommended software sets for LabVIEW 7.1.1 you will need to install the following software in this order:
  1. LabVIEW 7.1.1
  2. LabVIEW Real-Time Module 7.1.1
  3. FieldPoint 5.0.1 Support for LabVIEW 7.1.1.  You do not need to install the FieldPoint 5.0.1 driver, you only need to use it to install support for LabVIEW 7.1.1.


        4.    August 2007 Driver CD - You will need the following components from the Driver CD:
    1. FieldPoint 6.0
    2. NI-VISA 4.2
    3. NI-Serial 3.3.0
NOTE: Make sure that you install LabVIEW Real-Time support for each of the components listed above.
