Problem: The plastic guide on the back of the longer PCI cards makes the device too long to fit in my PC, can I unscrew this guide and remove it, or will this affect my card's performance? Solution: The plastic guide on the back of our longer PCI cards is used to support the device in the PC and to align the card during insertion. Removing this guide will not affect the functionality of the device. However, you should always use caution when handling the device to avoid damaging the device by applying unnecessary stress to the guide.
