Problem: Can I use a 40-Mhz crystal oscillator to driver the clock signal on the TNT4882 chip?

Solution: Yes. Connect the oscillator to the XTALI pin and leave the XTALO pin unconnected. See the TNT4882 Programmers Reference Manual for more information.
