What Does National Instruments Consider an Unique Activation? Primary Software: Other NI Software>>NI License ManagerPrimary Software Version: N/A Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I have a serial number that can be used to active multiple products, such as a Developer Suite serial number. I have received emails similar to the following: Thank you for choosing National Instruments products. If your product is not yet activated, use the activation code listed below. Please save the activation code in case you need to reactivate your product on the same computer. Solution: National Instruments considers an activation the pairing of a single computer and a unique product. For serial numbers that pertain to multiple products (i.e. Developer Suite), the serial number can activate each product in the package. This means that you can activate two different products (i.e. LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW) with the same serial number on different computers. This will count as two activations. Conversely, if you activate multiple unique products on a single machine, that will also count as 2 activations.
