PXIe-8130 Hangs When Resuming from Hibernation in Windows Operating SystemHardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers>>PXIe-8130
Problem: I installed a PXI or PXI Express module into my chassis when my PXIe-8130 was in hibernation mode or I installed an ExpressCard module into my PXIe-8130 while it was running or in hibernation mode. Now my controller hangs when resuming from hibernation mode. What is wrong? Solution: To add new hardware to the system, you must use the "Shut Down" option before inserting the new hardware. When the new hardware has been successfully added to the system, the Hibernate sleep state will begin functioning normally again. Adding hardware to a PXI chassis or controller when it it running (hotplugging) is not recommended and can cause problems including potentially breaking the hardware.
