"Unable To Locate Component" Error when Launching ELVIS Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI ELVIS Driver VIsPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I have installed NI ELVIS on my computer and every time I try to run it I get the following error:
Why am I receiving this error? Solution: The nidaq32.dll is part of the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. This error occurs when Traditional NI-DAQ is not installed on the computer. Even if NI-DAQmx is installed on the computer, ELVIS needs Traditional NI-DAQ in order to run. Installing Traditional NI-DAQ will fix this problem. See the link below for the current NI-DAQ driver.
