Solución:
El NI 488.2 Getting Started Wizard le ayudará y guiará en la configuración inicial de su hardware GPIB. Usted puede lanzar el NI 488.2 Getting Started Wizard de varias formas:

1. Instale un tarjeta plug and play GPIB. Cuando reinicie su sistema, el NI-488.2 Getting Started Wizard se lanzará automáticamente en algunos sistemas operativos.
2. Vaya a Start » Programs » National Instruments » NI-488.2 y lance el Getting Started Wizard.
3. En el Measurement & Automation Explorer, seleccione Help » Getting Started » NI-488.2 Getting Started Wizard.
4. Pulse click derecho sobre la tarjeta GPIB listada en el Measurement & Automation Explorer y seleccione NI-488.2 Getting Started Wizard en el menú contextual.

Cuando el Getting Started Wizard es lanzado, usted verá la siguiente ventana:

Seleccione" Verify your hardware and software installation " y el asistente verificará que su software NI-488.2 está correctamente instalado y que su interfaz GPIB es encontrado. El resto del asistente le guiará a través de los pasos necesarios para configurar y comunicar con su instrumento.
