Problem: I am trying to configure a FieldPoint System and I am not clear as to how many FP-TB-10 modules I can connecet to my FieldPoint Controller. Is there a limit and if so what is this limit? Solution: Most FieldPoint Controllers can supply upto 9W of power. This has to be taken into consideration when configuring FieldPoint Systems. The FP-TB-10 requires 200mW of power and has six slots for dual channel modules. These dual channel modules each require 350mW of power. If you are using the FP-TB-10, you can use the following formula to make sure your system is configured properly. A(0.2W) + B(0.35W) < 9W Where:A = The number of FP-TB-10 modules B = The number of dual channel modules in your system You can take a look at the FP-TB-10 data sheet linked at the bottom of this document in order to see the different power requirements for different modules.
