LabVIEW SignalExpress Code Generation Does Not Work after Upgrading LabVIEW

Problem:
I just upgraded to a newer version of LabVIEW. I want to generate code from my LabVIEW SignalExpress project for this newer version of LabVIEW. I used to be able to generate LabVIEW code from a SignalExpress project in one of two ways:
  1. From SignalExpress by selecting Tools»Generate Code»LabVIEW Diagram.  However, I now receive the error message below about supporting VIs that are missing.



  2. From LabVIEW by selecting Tools»SignalExpress»Convert SignalExpress Project.... However, this option is not available in my newly installed version of LabVIEW.
How can I fix this problem?

Solution:
LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0
LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0 only supports one version of LabVIEW at a time. When you install LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0, it finds the most current version of LabVIEW you have installed and installs support for LabVIEW SignalExpress into that version. If you later upgrade to new version of LabVIEW you must:
  1. Uninstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0 and
  2. Reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0.
When you reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0, it will install support to the most recent version of LabVIEW.

LabVIEW SignalExpress 3.0
LabVIEW SignalExpress 3.0 installs support for all LabVIEW versions 7.1 and later that are on your computer.  If you upgrade to a new version of LabVIEW, however, SignalExpress will not automatically install support for the most recent version.  If you want SignalExpress 3.0 support for the most recent version:
  1. Uninstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 3.0 and
  2. Reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 3.0.
When you reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 3.0, it will install support for all LabVIEW versions 7.1 and later on your computer.
