LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0 Code Generation Does Not Work after Upgrading LabVIEW Primary Software: LabVIEW Signal Express>>Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 2.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I just upgraded to a newer version of LabVIEW. I want to generate code from my LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0 project for this newer version of LabVIEW. I used to be able to generate LabVIEW code from a SignalExpress project by selecting Tools » SignalExpress » Convert SignalExpress Project... in LabVIEW. However, this option is not available in my newly installed version of LabVIEW. If I try to generate LabVIEW code from LabVIEW SignalExpress by selecting Tools » Generate Code » LabVIEW Diagram then I get an error message about supporting VIs that are missing. How can I fix this problem? Solution: LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0 only supports one version of LabVIEW at a time. When you install LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0, it finds the most current version of LabVIEW you have installed and installs support for LabVIEW SignalExpress into that version. If you later upgrade to new version of LabVIEW you will need to uninstall and reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.0. When you reinstall LabVIEW SignalExpress, it will install support to the most recent version of LabVIEW.
