Problem: Why can't I communicate with my GPIB device after I set up my GPIB-RS232 or GPIB-RS485 converter in C Mode? Solution: In the NI GPIB-Serial Converter Wizard, you must select the primary address of your instrument (not the converter) as the GPIB Primary Address as shown in the screenshot below.
